Calosoma macrum is a species of ground beetle in the subfamily of Carabinae. It was described by LeConte in 1852. The species is 22–29 millimetres (0.87–1.14 in), is black coloured, and lives on elevation of 1,100 to 1,700 metres (3,600 to 5,600 ft) in Guerrero, Mexico. It flies from June and October.[1]
