History
Long ago, the area currently known as Calubcub was a wide, forested place. One day, two priests went to the area and saw a coconut tree. One of the priests picked up a coconut then the other priest shook the fruit while saying, "kalog kalog!kalog kalog!" An American soldier saw them and asked, " father what place is this?" But the priest only answered by saying, "kalog kalog!" So the soldier thought that the area was named kalog kalog and that is how it became known as Calucub.
