Calum Clark (born 10 June 1989 in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham) is a professional rugby union player for Northampton Saints.[1] His primary position is Openside Flanker. Clark came through the Leeds Carnegie youth academy.

In 2012 Clark was suspended for 32 weeks after being found guilty of breaking the arm of Leicester hooker Rob Hawkins in the 2012 LV cup final.[5] The ban was initially for 64 weeks but reduced due to his guilty plea.[6] His ban left him free to play again on 2 November 2012.

He lives in Richmond, North Yorkshire.[7]

International career

Clark captained the England under 20 team to second place in the 2008 IRB Junior World Championship. However, Clark was sent off in the 38-3 Final defeat against New Zealand for a double head-butt having been penalised and warned for foul play earlier in the match.[8]

Clark was selected for the England 2015 Rugby World Cup training squad.[9] He made his England debut when he started against France on 15 August 2015, however he was sin binned during the game.[10]
