Cambridge Stadium

Cambridge Stadium was a former greyhound racing track in Cambridge.[1]

The track opened as an independent track in April 1968 and it was not until November 1978 that it raced under National Greyhound Racing Club rules.

In 1983 they had their NGRC licence cancelled and reverted once again to independent status leaving some of the sports top trainers looking for new tracks.

The legendary Joe Cobbold went private, Linda Mullins took up a position at Crayford and Theo Mentzis and Natalie Savva both went to Milton Keynes.

On 14 April 1984 the stadium closed.
