Canadian Forces Camp Chilcotin
Canadian Forces Camp Chilcotin is a Canadian Forces training camp in the Chilcotin District, to the west of the city of Williams Lake on the eastern Chilcotin Plateau. It is located in the general vicinity of Fort Chilcotin, a 19th Century outpost of the Hudson's Bay Company whose exact location is unknown today, and is sometimes also referred to as Fort Chilcotin. A parallel Chilcotin Forest Indian Training Centre for indigenous people is located nearby at Chilcotin Forest, an unincorporated settlement.
