Cape McCormick
Cape McCormick (71°50′S 170°58′E / 71.833°S 170.967°ECoordinates: 71°50′S 170°58′E / 71.833°S 170.967°E) is a cape marking the eastern extremity of Adare Peninsula in Victoria Land, Antarctica. It was discovered by Captain James Clark Ross in 1841, who named it for Robert McCormick, surgeon on HMS Erebus.[1]
