Capel Celyn Halt railway station

Capel Celyn Halt railway station was a railway station on the Great Western Railway's Bala Ffestiniog Line in Wales. It closed to passenger services on 2 January 1960 and freight services on 27 January 1961.

The site of the halt was nearly covered by Llyn Celyn reservoir, the construction of which led to the closure of the line in 1961 except the Bala to Bala Junction section. That section was subsequently closed in 1965. Today, the platform no longer exists, however, the concrete lamp holder is still in situ, and the waiting shelter has been moved on to a nearby farm, although in a poor state, is in current use as a small storage shed.
