The Capital Maharaja Organisation Limited is one of the largest conglomerates in Sri Lanka. A multifaceted, multidimensional group whose activities span manufacturing, marketing, exports, communications,[1] media,[1] information technology,[1] foods, packaging and more.".[2]

History

The Group had its origins in the years leading up to World War II. Two friends, S. Mahadevan and S. Rajandram, employees of Dodge & Seymour, an American trading house, committed their life savings to acquire the shares of the Company when the owners left the Island.
