Caravan, RV & Accommodation Industry of Australia

Caravan, RV & Accommodation Industry of Australia (CRVA) is the peak national tourism body for the caravanning, camping, other recreational vehicles (RV) products and holiday parks industry, with responsibility for tourism marketing within Australia,[1] as well as research and forecasting for domestic trends.

The organisation was formed on 1 July 1992 by the separate Caravanning Industry State Associations of Australia. CRVA has since become heavily involved in tourism lobbying, working in conjunction with Tourism Australia[2] and the National Tourism Alliance[3] in order to form optimal conditions for growth of the Australian caravanning industry.

The organisation recently launched the popular national marketing campaign 'Caravanning and Holiday Parks - Where people come together' with the objective to encourage more Australians to enjoy the great outdoors with a caravanning holiday.

Since May 2011, CRVA is the sponsor for Australia's Funniest Home Videos' weekly prize, in which home viewers have a chance to win the cash and prizes valued at over $500 after the viewer's videoclip gets played on the Nine Network comedy.
