Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi is a bi-lingual secondary school in Cardigan, Ceredigion, Wales. It offers secondary education from age 11 to 18, incorporating GCSEs and A-Levels in its sixth form. The motto is Egni a Lwydd (Energy Succeeds).
The school is commended for its School Council, with it being awarded Outstanding by the 2015 Estyn Inspection. Its structure and conduct are now being demonstrated to schools all across the country with aim for other schools to adopt a similar, and very focused approach to understanding the needs of the pupil. Pupil Welfare was also rated outstanding in this inspection, and is testament to all the hard work put in to better the school enironment for all students.
The school appeared on S4C's Hip neu Sgip?: Yn erbyn y cloc in 2011, as part of a garden makeover item which took place at the school in September 2010.[1]
