Cardonal de Panilonco, or just Panilonco (Mapudungun: metal head, pronounced: [karðoˈnal ðe paniˈloŋko]) is a Chilean village located north of Pichilemu, Cardenal Caro Province.[1] As of the 2002 census, the population comprised 852 people, and 235 households.[2]
Etymology
Panilonco comes from Mapudungun pañil (metal) and lonco (head).[1]
