Careers360 is an education company founded in year 2009 by Pathfinder Publishing. It provides a platform to students which helps them optimize their career options and make informed career decision. T
Careers360 assists students through challenges like exam preparation, identifying the right colleges, profile evaluation, admission guidance and finally evolving into a complete future career planning. It provides everything related education and career decisions, across print, web and mobile platforms.
In Jan 2016, Careers360 has raised an undisclosed amount of investment from MeritTrac,[2] a subsidiary of Manipal Global Education Services.
History
Careers360, a subsidiary of Pathfinder Publishing Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 2009 by Maheshwer Peri with launch of English Magazine and Hindi Magazine.[3] It launched its web platform in 2012 with the motive to reach out to mass audience. In 2014 Careers360 came up with data driven tools/products through which they provide personalized prediction & recommendations to its users to choose wisely while making a career decision.
Funding
1. In June 2014, Careers360 raised Angel funding from five investors;[4] Satya Naryanan founder of Career Launcher Group, Ranjan Pai head of MEMG and Mahesh Murthy founder of Pinstorm.
2. In Jan 2016, Careers360 raised investment from MeritTracc, by selling nearly 10% of its stake.
Acquisitions
- 2015: NoPaperForm,[5] an enrollment management platform for educational institutes.
- 2015: Entrancecorner,[6] Platform for candidates who prepares for entrance tests.
Products
- In 2009, Careers360 launched its English magazine, followed by Hindi magazine in 2010
- In 2011, Careers360 launched its career guides named as Engineering & Bschool Almanacs which provide guidance through its ranking and advisory content to the aspirants who are seeking admissions in engineering and management colleges. They have guide books for engineering, Bschool, Study Abroad, professional courses aspirants.
- In 2012, Careers360 launched its web platform, and claims to have 6 million monthly visitors.
- In 2014, data-driven prediction and recommendation tools were launched, namely Rank Predictor, College Predictor, Prepmeter, Pathfinder and Score converter
- In 2015, Careers360 launched it's mobile app, which is currently available on Android
