Member of Legislative Assembly

Its last MLA was Charlie Wyse, a former city councillor for Williams Lake. He was first elected in 2005. He represented the New Democratic Party of British Columbia. He ran again in the newly created riding of Cariboo-Chlcotin for the 2009 election and was defeated.
