Carl Deichman
Carl Deichman (1705? – 21 April 1780) was a Danish/Norwegian businessperson, writer and book collector. He was the son of Bishop Bartholomæus Deichman. He was the owner of several ironworks, including Eidsfos Verk. His collection of 6,000 books and an additional endowment formed the basis of Oslo Public Library.[1][2]
