Carlos Domingos Duarte (born 25 March 1933 in Huambo), former Portuguese footballer who played for FC Porto, as forward.
International career
Duarte gained 7 caps and scored 1 goal for the Portuguese national team. He made his debut against South Africa 21 November 1953 in Lisbon in a 3-1 win.

Highlights
Said one day the famous journalist Tavares da Silva: "In Portugal, Carlos Duarte, from FC Porto, and David Julius, from Sporting are the only players to dribble in a straight line." The speed of Carlos Duarte and the short dribble that he made, sometimes in one-two combinations with the equally famous Hernani, or alone in a straight line on the way to the opposing goal, enchanted the portista fans, and dazzled football lovers. FC Porto turned down the offer. National Champion in March 1959, on September 3 of that year is seriously injured in the knee in a Espanyol Barcelona-FC Porto. Operated by the famous physician Dr. Ricardo Calot, right there in Barcelona, Carlos Duarte was able to return to the pitch, but in 1962 he put an end to his career, the career of one of the finest right Wingers of the Football, World and national level.
In 2003, FC Porto bestowed him with the 'Golden Dragon', as recognition for his large contribution to FC Porto.
