Carmelaram

Carmelaram is a small village in Bangalore situated at Varthur Hobli, Sarjapura road. Carmelaram was a village but is now a part of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike. It is a very calm and quiet area unlike the other parts of Bangalore city.

History

The name sounds like a British name. A lot of Carmalitta Sister belong to this area, thanks to a number of churches in the area. Aram is a resting place in Hindi, hence the name.
