The Mistletoe Stem Borer (Carmenta tecta) is a moth of the Sesiidae family.[1] It was described by H. Edwards in 1882. It is known from North America, including Arizona.

Larvae are known from live oak groves with colonies of Phoradendron orbiculatum, on which the larvae feed.
