Carolina Monroy del Mazo (Atlacomulco, Estado de México, (born 21 August 1962) is a Mexican politician, member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party, she has been municipal president of Metepec, State of México y elected federal deputy.

Studies and family

Carolina Monroy del Mazo is lawyer egresada of the Universidad del Valle de Toluca. She is a niece of Alfredo del Mazo González, governor of the state of Mexico, Secretary of Energy and aspirant of the presidential candidacy of PRI in 1988, and cousin of President Enrique Peña Nieto, also an ex Governor of Mexico;[1] she is married to Ernesto Nemer Álvarez, Secretary General of Government of the state of Mexico and Sub-secretary of the Secretariat of Social Development.[2]
