"Caroline" is a single released by the British Rock band Status Quo in 1973. It was included on the album Hello!.[1]
It was written by Bob Young and Francis Rossi on a table napkin in the dining room of a hotel in Perranporth, Cornwall, in 1970. It became their first top 5 hit.
