Carrier killer missile
A carrier killer missile is a type of conventional anti-ship missile that is designed to seriously damage or sink an aircraft carrier from a distance greater than the attack range of the carrier.
The Soviet Union tried to develop a carrier killer missile during the Cold War, but eventually abandoned the program.[1] Currently, China has a similar missile under development: the DF 21D.[2][3]
