Carroll L. Hurd

Carroll L. Hurd was Mayor of St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

Biography

Hurd was born on January 9, 1894 in Boardman, Wisconsin.[1] He attended the University of Wisconsin–River Falls. Later, Hurd worked at the West Hotel in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

On October 15, 1913, Hurd married Laura Henning.[2] They would have five children before her death from cancer on November 8, 1959. Hurd later married Hazel Pinney. He died on April 22, 1977.

Political career

Hurd was Mayor of St. Louis Park from 1952 to 1953. Additionally, he was a member of the city council and the school board.
