Carrozzeria Castagna
Carrozzeria Castagna is an Italian coachbuilding company from Milan. The company history starts
in 1849 when Carlo Castagna bought the Ferrari coachbuilding business. In the end of 1800 was built the first coach automobile with a
combustion engine (Benz quadricycle). Later the company worked with larger car makers such as Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Mercedes-Benz, Isotta Fraschini
and Duesenberg.[1] The original company ceased in 1954[2] and later the famous name has been revived twice in the 1990s.[3]
Latest works includes of the company includes new (BMW) Mini.[1]
