Caryl Parry Jones (born 1958) is a Welsh singer, songwriter, presenter, actress and composer. She was born in North Wales and attended Ysgol Glan Clwyd in St. Asaph, but currently lives in Cowbridge, in the Vale of Glamorgan. She appeared in TV films such as Gaucho (1983), The Mimosa Boys (1983), Ibiza, Ibiza (1986) and Steddfod, Steddfod (1989), which inspired her comedy television series Caryl (1983–87).[1] Until spring 2014 she co-hosted the breakfast show on BBC Radio Cymru with Dafydd Du.[2]
