The Maple Trumpet Skeletonizer Moth (Catastega aceriella) is a moth of the Tortricidae family. It is found from southern Ontario and Nova Scotia to North Carolina and Tennessee.
Damage
The wingspan is 13–17 mm. Adults are greyish brown. There are possibly more than one generations per year.
The larvae feed on Acer species.[3] They skeletonize the leaves of their host, resulting in a trumpet construction.
