Cathal Sheridan (born 14 November 1988) is an Irish rugby union player, who currently plays for Munster in the Pro 12 and European Rugby Champions Cup. He plays club rugby for UL Bohemians R.F.C..
Munster
Sheridan is a product of the Munster Academy, having previously represented Connacht at Under-19 level. He was on a development contract for the 2012–13 season.[1] He made his senior Munster debut as a replacement against Edinburgh on 8 February 2013.[2] Sheridan made his first start for Munster on 2 March 2013, against Ospreys in the Pro 12. He made his second start for Munster against his native Connacht, helping set up a try for his team mate Paul O'Connell.[3] He was added to Munster's 2012–13 Heineken Cup squad in March 2013.[4] Sheridan secured a full one-year contract with Munster in early April 2013.[5] He signed a new two-year contract with Munster in January 2014.[6] Sheridan was ruled out for 3–4 months after having surgery on a broken right forearm in February 2014.[7]
