Catharina Freymann

Catharina Freymann (16 September 1708 - 12 December 1791), was a Norwegian pietist. She was the leader of the Moravian Church in Norway from 1737 until 1741. Based in Oslo, where she managed a girl's school, she traveled between the different Moravian congregations of Norway. Her activity has been blamed for the fact that the ban of freedom of religion was sharpened in 1741.
