The Central District of Tehran County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان تهران) is a district (bakhsh) in Tehran County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,796,431, in 2,291,668 families.[2] The District has three cities: Tehran, Bumahen, and Pardis. The District has one rural district (dehestan): Siyahrud Rural District.
