Central gas system
A Central gas system is a freestanding community propane pipeline capable of serving dozens to thousands of individual residences, community amenities, schools, or commercial centers often from a single, centralized tank.[1] These systems can be installed anywhere without gas main extensions—even beyond municipal and private utility service areas. Centralized gas distribution systems also allow developers and homeowners to avoid power disruptions common on larger grids and wide-area distribution networks.
Combined heat and power
Central gas distribution systems are also capable of providing fuel for combined heat and power (CHP) systems. CHP systems can supply all electricity, heating and cooling for any sized development. These systems allow for a much more efficient way to recapture and repurpose the heat created with combustion generators.
