Century Casinos
Century Casinos, Inc. (NASDAQ: CNTY) is a gaming company based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was formed in 1992 by several executives of Casinos Austria.[1][2]
The company owns and operates five casinos in Colorado and Alberta. It also operates casinos on cruise ships for Oceania, TUI, Windstar, and Regent Seven Seas, and manages a casino at the Radisson Aruba.[3] In 2007, Century paid $8.7 million to acquire a 33% stake in Casinos Poland, operator of several casinos in Poland.[4]
In December 2012, Century announced an agreement to finance and manage a horse track and casino to be built in Balzac, Alberta.[5] The casino opened in April 2015.[6]
