Ceol 06 is a 26-track double album of songs in Irish, to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge. It sees the combination of established acts such as The Corrs and The Frames, alongside newer talents such as Traic Ó Braonáin and Ross Breen.
The songs – many of them written in Irish, others translated from English – include Mundy’s reinvention of his hit, "Mexico", and the Mongrels reading of two poems conjoined.
All acts gave their time free of charge and profits go to Concern to assist in their work in Mozambique.
