Cezary Paszkowski

Cezary Paszkowski (born June 1, 1948 in Gdańsk) is a Polish professor, printmaker and painter.

Cezary Paszkowski lives and works in Gdańsk. He graduated from PWST in Gdańsk in 1973 under Professor Rajmund Pietkiewicz. He is a professor at the Gdańsk Academy of Fine Arts at Faculty of Graphic Design, he runs Studio of graphic Design and Multimedia Graphic.

His artistic activity is reflected in different forms of arts: he draws, paints, but first of all he creates prints. He employs both traditional techniques using metal plates (mezzotint, etching) but for quite a long time he has been using digital techniques and moving picture with his own music.

Exhibitions and awards

His works can be admired in National Museums in Kraków, Gdańsk and Szczecin and in National Library in Warsaw, in Hermitage Museum collection in Saint Petersburg in Russia, also in museums and private collections in Poland, number of countries in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia.

He also participated in numerous exhibitions both Polish and international. He has also been awarded in a great number of graphics competitions, winning more than 40 prizes and awards.
