Chabanaudia is a genus of central African lizard in the family Scincidae[2] commonly known as skinks. The genus Chabanaudia is monotypic, containing only one species.[1]

Description

The species in this genus has reduced eyes and ear openings covered with skin.

Geographic range

C. boulengeri is endemic to Gabon.[2]

Etymology

The generic name, Chabanaudia, is in honor of French herpetologist Paul Chabanaud. The specific name, boulengeri, is in honor of Belgian-born British herpetologist George Albert Boulenger.[3]
