Chaka Seisay

Chaka Seisay (aka Complicated C aka DJ Chaka). During the late 1980s and early 1990s, Complicated C formed the Stockholm based hip hop duo Sure Shot Groove with MC Stranger.

Career

An avid promoter of hip hop music, Complicated C appeared on radio and television, performing songs he had written with MC Stranger and he also hosted several radio programs about hip hop. The Sure Shot Groove were one of the groups who recorded with Swemix, a hot bed for the budding musical talents that would dominate the Swedish music scene throughout the 1990s and make American style hip hop mainstream. In 1989 the Sure Shot Groove released the single "We'll Never Fess" and the 12inch Rhymes Are Flowing'.
