Challenge Records (1994)

To be distinguished from Challenge Records (1920s) and Challenge Records (1950s)[1]

Challenge Records International B.V. in Amersfoort was founded in the Netherlands in 1994 and is dedicated to recordings of classical music and jazz.

Current Labels of Challenge Records include Buzz, Between The Lines, Challenge Classics, Challenge Records, V-Flow, Double Moon (producer Volker Dueck [2]), Challenge Jazz (producer Hein van de Geyn [3]), Challenge Legacy, Retrieval (restorations by John R.T. Davies [4]), Daybreak (producer Fred Dubiez [5]), Timeless Jazz Legacy, A Records, JJ-Tracks, PineHill, Van Dyck Records, Supertracks Records, Drukplaten, Fineline, SunnyMoon Records, and Antoine Marchand.[6]

Challenge distributes many independent Dutch and German jazz labels.

Artists

Major Dutch classical artists include De Nederlandse Opera, and Nederlands Symfonieorkest.
