Characium marinum is a species of green algae (Chlorophyta).
Description
C. marinum is a microscopic unicellular elongated oval algae growing attached epiphytically by a stalk various algae. The single chloroplast is parietal with a single pyrenoid.<ref name=Burrows>E. M.
