Charaxes porthos, the Porthos Untailed Charaxes, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Gabon, the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda and Tanzania.[2] The habitat consists of lowland evergreen forests and drier forests.

Adults are attracted to fermented bananas.
