Charles F. West (aviator)
Charles F. West (April 24, 1899 – July 14, 1972) was a pioneer aviator.[1]
Biography
He was born on April 24, 1899.[1]
He built a biplane glider and soloed in it in the year 1914.[1]
In 1927 he attempted to rescue Paul Redfern who was lost on an expedition to South America.[1]
He died on July 14, 1972 in Oakland, California.[1]
