Charles Virolleaud

Jean Charles Gabriel Virolleaud (1879, Barbezieux, Charente – 1968) was a French archaeologist, one of the excavators of Ugarit. He is still renowned too for his books, and particularly for La Civilisation phénicienne (1933) and La Mythologie phénicienne (1938).[1]
