Charlie Neshyba-Hodges (born February 21, 1980) is a contemporary American dancer known for his unique ability to blend powerful and fluid dancing[1] with tragicomic projection.[2] Known to critics for exceptional technical skill, Neshyba-Hodges enjoys a growing popular base of fans who describe his performances as charming,[3] mesmerizing, or simply eloquent.[4]

Neshyba-Hodges attended Gina Kaskie Dancers and Pinkerton Dance from age 10 - age 16 years he then attended Walnut Hill School from 1996 to 1998, in Natick, MA, where he majored in dance. He received the Arnold C. Taylor award for artistic and academic excellence, became a member of the Gold Key Honor Society for academic merit. In 1998 he was one of 20 dancers to perform in the NFAA-sponsored ARTS program, where he received a level 2 recognition. After graduation from Walnut Hill, he transitioned into a soloist role as a company member of the Sacramento Ballet. In 2002 he joined the touring repertoire company Twyla Tharp Dance; he was voted Best Male Dancer by the European Critics' Choice Awards in 2003. At the same time he devised a dance notation, and began using it to archive several of Tharp's pieces. In January, 2004, he opened Tharp's first national tour of Movin' Out (musical), and in 2005 he began workshopping Tharp's The Times They Are A-Changin' (musical). His Broadway debut occurred in July 2005 with Movin' Out, in which he played Eddie. He played Pisspoor in an out-of-town tryout of The Times They Are A-Changin' at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego in February 2006.

Recent original Broadway production credits include Come Fly Away (2010), for which he won the 2010 Astaire Award[5] for outstanding male dancer for his role as Marty. Rights to Come Fly Away were subsequently sold to the Wynn Las Vegas entertainment outlet, where a slightly shortened version of the show debuted on December 11, 2010 under the name "Sinatra Dance With Me."[6]
