Charlison Benschop (born 21 August 1989) is a Dutch professional footballer who currently plays for German club Hannover 96, as a striker.[1] He was transferred from German second league club Fortuna Düsseldorf the beginning of the 2015 season. [2]

Career

Benschop played youth football with SCO '63 and Spijkenisse,[3] and began his senior professional career with RKC Waalwijk during the 2007–08 season.[4] He signed a five-year contract with AZ in March 2010.[5][6][7]

Benschop played international football at youth level for the Netherlands.[7]
