Charsznica [xarʂˈnit͡sa] is a village in Miechów County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Charsznica. It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north-west of Miechów and 39 km (24 mi) north of the regional capital Kraków.[1]
The village has a population of 1,900.
