Chatham Charter High School is a charter school in Siler City, North Carolina. The school opened in August 2013 with 115 students, and will add a freshman class every year until the school reaches around 200 students in the high school. The school sits on 39 acres and a 43,000 sq foot facility.

History

Chatham Charter was founded in 1996, as one of the first schools to receive a charter from the state. The school has grown every year, and eventually a middle school was opened in 2008, followed by the high school in 2013. Currently athletic fields are being built to accommodate the sports teams for middle and high school.

Athletics

Chatham Charter is a 1A Independent for the North Carolina High School Athletic Association for the 14-15 year, and will move to a conference in 15-16. The school offers sports for: men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, softball, baseball, men's and women's tennis, and volleyball.
