Check It Out is the debut album by American soul/R&B group Tavares, released in 1974 on the Capitol label.  The album was produced by Johnny Bristol and was moderately successful, peaking at #20 on the R&B chart.  Both singles, "Check It Out" and "That's the Sound That Lonely Makes", made the R&B top 10.
