Cheemeni is a village in Kasaragod district in the state of Kerala, India. The name "Cheemeni" arose from the word "Sreemeni" which means that the body of sree.Nearest town is Cheruvathur. Cheemeni Vishnumurthy temple has lakhs of devotees visiting every year.[1]
