Cheepuru-palli (file:Cheepurpalli - Te.ogg) is a census town in Vizianagaram district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Cheepurupalle mandal of Vizianagaram revenue division.[1]
Education
Cheepurupalle is one of the most developed towns of Vizianagaram District in education. It has separate government High schools for boys and girls. It has a Govt. Degree College,a newly sanctioned polytechnic college,a Govt. Intermediate College and many private colleges and schools are present around the town. Avanthi's Saint Theresa Institute of Technology is at a distance of 6 km from Cheepurupalle. It also offers MBA, MCA and polytechnic courses apart from Engineering Courses.[3]

Politics
Cheepurupalli is an assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh.As of 2009, the Electoral college includes the people of four Mandals namely Cheepurupalli, Garividi, Gurla and Merakamudidam.
The Politics in the constituency is mainly dominated by the INC and the TDP, although the YSRCP and the Lok Satta parties have a presence. Kamidi Mrunalini is the present MLA of the constituency.[4]
