Chelmonops is a genus of tropical fish in the family Chaetodontidae.

There are currently two recognized species in this genus:[1]
- Chelmonops curiosus Kuiter, 1986 (Western talma)
- Chelmonops truncatus (Kner, 1859) (Truncate coralfish)
