Chevella is a mandal in the Rangareddi district, state of Telangana, India. It is 40 km distance from Hyderabad. Chevella town is on the Hyderabad-Tandur road route.

There is a Zilla Parishad High School in the village. It is also home to many engineering colleges like P. Indra Reddy Memorial Engineering College, Farah College of Engineering & Technology etc. Al Habeeb College of Engineering and Technology is also very famous. This college has a student research body and many qualified faculty. Important people[2] visit this college on special occasions.
