Chi Park, MD — is the a character of the American medical drama series House. Portrayed by Los Angeles born actress and comedian Charlyne Yi, she joins Dr. Greg House's team of diagnosticians in the department of Diagnostic Medicine at the fictional Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital in New Jersey based on Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Dr. Chi Park's character joins the diagnostic team in Season 8 after she hits her supervisor in the neurology department when he gropes her during a procedure. Dr. Park's character is introduced in the episode Transplant (House), in which she joins Dr. House on a case.[1]
Dr. Chi Park's character has been described as a "diminutive brainiac with often hilarious anger issues".[2] Park's character was born in the United States and is of Korean and Philippine ancestry. Park's character lives with her parents, was a top student at medical school before becoming a neurology resident at Princeton-Plainsboro hospital.[3]

The second actress to brave House’s slings and arrows is Charlyne Yi, 25, who plays Dr. Chi Park, a diminutive brainiac with often hilarious anger issues. House is saddled with Park after she wallops her attending physician in neurosurgery for groping her butt.

House does have Dr. Chi Park, and at first she seems an odd match; she’s shy and still lives with her parents. But it turns out she slugged her boss in neurology after he grabbed her ass, so she and House have at least some personality traits in common.
