Chiadma

Chiadma is an Arabian tribe of the larger Maqil tribe. The tribe settled in Morocco between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries. They are lolocated at the Atlantic coast in the region between Safi and Essaouira. Part of the tribe is integrated in the Arabian Doukkala tribe and settled north of the territory of Doukkala around the city of Azemmour.

The Chiadma celebrate every year a pilgrimage known as Regraga which lasts 40 days.
