Chicago Dance Crash

Chicago Dance Crash is an American dance company based in Chicago that merges different dance forms[1] including ballet, hip hop, and capoeira. Founded in 2002[2] by Illinois State University graduates Marissa Moritz, Charlie Cutler, and Mark Hackman,[3] Dance Crash has performed original repertory works and dance-based theatrical productions at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre at Navy Pier, Dance Chicago, the DCA Storefront Theater, the Harris Theater for Music & Dance, and Mayne Stage while touring nationally.

At the end of 2012, company member Jessica Deahr was named Artistic Director.[4]
